Fur & Florals
I'm not going to sit around and debate whether wearing vintage fur is right or wrong, because frankly I can see both sides of the argument. But luck would have it that I've come to own some beautiful pieces, and the weather in the North does call for real vintage fur.
I decided to pair the oversized coat with a cashmere cropped jumper, and cotton floral vintage trousers to keep things adequately spring-y.
I bought thse glasses from *drum roll please* the only car boot sale I have attended in Newcastle in over a year and a half of living here. They are purely decorative, but give me another accessory option and I'll jump all over it - so they cost me 50p and if I only wear them a handful of times then I'm happy. I thought the translucent pink frame detail resonated nicely with the pinkish tones in the trousers.
My shoes are my super practical, comfy, and achingly Alexa Chung hip Marks and Spencer brogues.
This gold metal necklace of a woman kneeling is so small and delicate that I feel like it can only be really appreciated in a close up picture. Even just wearing it feels a bit fruitless - which is why I tend to be jewelry-less throughout the day.
