What I Did In December
I worked the big yeti coat and knitted flares look.
I appreciated my worn out but still funny crude coaster.
I sorted out more lovely silk accessories - of which this tie and scarf were some of my faves!
I found this hilarious angry cat tin lying around and thought 'I must instagram this right away.' So I did.
I had to walk away from these adorable baby shoes once again. This is getting annoying, I will just start buying them eventually.
I appreciated accidental art in Byker.
I went here and it was so naice.
I want to buy this building, it's up for grabs for 800k. Bargain!
I photographed tacky shop windows, as I always do. Because everyone needs more dragons in their life.
I loved Hip Cat Vintage's window! I want a lion mask like that.
Mum bought this very appropriate pencil case in the sales.
We went to the Laing art gallery, I never knew Richard Hamilton used to work for Newcastle University!
I bought some very neccessary items from the charity shops. (Hey, I have like 3 weddings to go to next year ok?!)
I went back to Gateshead and photographed more of it's crumbling glory.
I spotted this relevant Star Wars Graffiti in the city centre.
And this is some monument to some socialist heroes apparently?
I spent most of my evenings with this side chick. And had a VERY uneventful new year in which I sat indoors and....
Ate this. This best thing that ever happened to me. Sorry Al.
I did a lot of chilling in the PJs my best friends got me while I was in hospital.
And admired some of my Christmas presents...
I lol'd at this for it's very northern bluntness.
And was impressed by the latin at South Shields station.
Then I actually WORE my Christmas presents and felt fabulous.
But the pain from the lung surgery still made me feel like this ^
So I kind of just focused on looking like a cute 1990s clubber girl instead.
